May Stuck Sketch

Hello again.
Last night I made time to play along with the new sketch for May over at Stuck?! Sketches
Here is the sketch in case you want to join in :

I flipped it and brought the large corners in a little because I like a bit of white space!
Here is my take:

Not the greatest photo because it looks a little lop sided but it will have to do.
I had to raid my stash to find papers in blue, it's my least favourite colour you know.
But happy with how it came together.

Here are some details:

Thanks for taking the time to check out my layout.

D'lish Scraps May Inspiration Board Challenge

Hi there!
Yes I realise it is the 1st of May and I have joined in on D'lish Scraps MAY challenge!!!
Long story short but both my kiddlets were sick with terrible colds for just over 2 weeks! So my amazing Mum had them overnight so I could have some 'me' time to create.

First thing I did seeing it had been a while was look for a challenge to get me started.
I fell in love with this month's inspiration board:

Loved the Green and Teals and the sketch too...well I started out using the sketch and ended up with a little different.

So here is my take, which happens to be my first ever layout of Carter.

Struggling a little on how to scrap boys without adding flowers and butterflies to pages! But happy with how it turned out.
D'lish fans will spot the Enamel Dots and washi, huge fan!

Thanks for stopping in.

Oh - Lah De Dah!

Hi there!

So tonight I thought I would share a page I did in my Lah De Dah book. It was created for a competition they were holding on their facebook page.
Pretty straight forward guidelines to enter and it had to be a double page. Just perfect for me!

Here's what I came up with :

The simple background made for a really quick and easy double!
Here are a few of the details :

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a winner and received a really generous prize pack...so look out for more pages using their products!
If you want to have a look at their products you can find them HERE and also most BIG W stores around Australia stock them too.

Thanks for stopping in.

Kaisercraft Planner done my way.

I genuinely feel excited to be back blogging. I had a few hiccups getting back into things but now that's all sorted I though I would share my new Kaisercraft Planner.
Gorgeous isn't it?

I got it thinking I would use it how die-hard planner people use them...
Then I did a bit of looking around and decided that wasn't for me. I'm organised but I usually scribble lists down on scraps of paper scrunched up in my pocket. This planner is way too pretty for that.
So I'm using mine as kind of like a pretty diary I suppose.

Here's a look at how I am using it...

2 rules for myself - pages must be done quick and in advance. If its not maintainable I wont keep with it. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it looks and reads at the end of the year, I even think my kids will like to sit and read what they were up to way back in 2016.

I took these photos a while ago so I promise I am up to date.

Quick and easy pages that look pretty good when all written in, that's why I love this planner.

So, that's January, although it looks a little different now that its almost March.
Have loved sharing with you and hope to be back soon.

Thanks for stopping in.

***POST UPDATE 01.04.16 :
I have been asked in quite a few of the Facebook groups that I shared this post - where I purchased the Kaisercraft Planner...
I got mine from my local scrap booking Store SCRAPBOOKING DELIGHTS, which is now an online store too so check them out!

Hello.

Its me.
I was wondering if after all this time you'd like to see what I have been up to?

( ok ok enough Adele )
That's my hubby, gorgeous 3 year old, newborn bundle of perfection and me.
Well...that was us about 7 months ago.
Things are getting easier around here so seeing I have free time back I thought I would get back to sharing.
I never stopped creating. I just stopped sharing it with the world. When 'me time' gets thin you have to choose how best to spend it I suppose.
I've missed it though. So it will be nice to be sharing my creativity with adults again 😊
Next post I promise to share something I've made with paper and glue...

March - OUAS

Hi there lovely Scrappers!

Told you I would be back :)
Today I have an 8.5x11 layout to share with you that I created for this months challenge over at
Once Upon a...sketch.

Along with the sketch, this month that have this quote for inspiration:

I have used this as the journaling inspiration for my layout about Hubby and I having a date night. We might not get as many date nights these days but we really appreciate our time together and always make the most of it!

 Here is the lovely sketch:

I have made the sketch slightly smaller to accommodate my size layout.

I rarely complete anything crafty without D-Lish goodies, and I've used quite a few on this layout!
Hope you like my layout and as always thanks for stopping by.
